This is a specification document for the Fredrick Douglas Building Window Replacement project (Y26-743) issued by Orange County, Florida Capital Projects Division. The project involves the removal of existing windows and installation of new aluminum storefront systems at the Fredrick Douglas Building located at 6565 Willow Street in Zellwood, Florida. The scope of work includes selective demolition of existing windows, installation of new non-impact or impact-resistant aluminum storefronts with glazing, joint sealants, gypsum board patching, and painting of affected areas. Three bid options are available: a base bid for non-impact storefront systems with security film at both entrances, Bid Additive #1 for impact-resistant systems at both entrances, and Bid Additive #2 for a mixed approach with impact-resistant storefront at the west (public) entrance and non-impact with security film at the east (employee) entrance. Sealed bids are due by 4:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, submitted electronically through the OpenGov e-Procurement Platform. The estimated project cost is $319,428.00.
