About this file

This Worker Protection Form is associated with a roadkill deer disposal service contract opportunity for the Northcentral Region of Pennsylvania, managed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC). The contract covers Union, Lycoming, and Tioga counties and requires the selected vendor to pick up road-killed deer and deer parts, then properly dispose of them according to specified protocols. All quantities referenced in the purchase order are estimated. The contract term extends for one year with the option to renew for an additional four years on a year-by-year basis, contingent upon mutual agreement between the PGC and the vendor. Interested vendors should contact Mercy Melo at 570-398-4744 ext 30312 for additional information regarding the specific duties and expectations outlined in the specifications section.

The Worker Protection Form establishes occupational safety and health requirements for personnel performing roadkill disposal work under this contract. While specific pricing terms, set-aside provisions, incumbent vendor information, and detailed funding sources are not detailed in this particular form, vendors must ensure compliance with worker protection standards and safety protocols as outlined. The document serves as a critical component ensuring that all personnel engaged in the collection and disposal of road-killed deer maintain appropriate safety measures and protection throughout contract performance.
