About this file

The Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form (BOP 2201) is a compliance document used by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for state and local contract opportunities. This form serves as a certification mechanism for contractors bidding on projects such as the Fuel Tank Repair opportunity, which involves cleaning sludge from a 15,000-gallon diesel fuel tank, sandblasting, and relining the tank. The form functions as a prerequisite certification that bidders must complete and submit to demonstrate their compliance with Pennsylvania's worker protection and investment requirements prior to contract award.

The BOP 2201 form establishes obligations for contractors regarding workforce development, prevailing wage compliance, and other worker-related protections mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Contractors completing this certification affirm their commitment to meeting applicable labor standards and investment requirements throughout the contract term. This certification is essential for contract eligibility and represents the Commonwealth's commitment to ensuring that publicly-funded projects maintain adequate protections for workers and contribute to local economic development objectives.
