The contractor must clean the interior surfaces of ventilation system ducting and components across 24 compartments located on the Pilot House, Main Deck, and Second Deck of the vessel. The cleaning scope includes all supply and return ducting, associated grating and louvers, and air handler assembly surfaces that contact supply air (such as coils, filters, and plenums). The contractor must comply with all requirements in Surface Forces Logistics Center Standard Specification 5100 (SFLC Std Spec 5100) for cleaning shipboard ventilation systems, including marking and restoring damper positions, removing intake and exhaust screens, and cleaning the entire vent system from air entry to discharge points.

The contractor is required to furnish temporary HVAC equipment to maintain existing climate control in all impacted areas for the duration of the work. Additional requirements include witnessing an initial operational test of ventilation systems before work commences, documenting any required system modifications, providing digital photographs of duct interiors before and after cleaning, submitting a written notification to the Contracting Officer's Representative 48 hours before starting work, and conducting a post-completion operational test in the presence of Coast Guard personnel to demonstrate satisfactory operating condition. All work must follow Coast Guard Drawings 154 WPC 512-201, 512-301, and 512-305 (and their 154B revisions) and comply with SFLC Standard Specification 0000 regarding vessel component protection and interference handling.
