About this file

This document is an air quality permit issued by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality to the Department of Veterans Affairs for modifications to boilers and a generator at the Sheridan VA Medical Center. The permit allows the operation of two constructed but not started coal-fired boilers up to 9.44 MMBtu/hr each and a 29.3 MMBtu/hr natural gas steam generator. It details emissions limits for nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, particulate matter and opacity for the coal boilers and generator. The permit requires initial and periodic emissions testing, recordkeeping of fuel usage and quality, and compliance with applicable New Source Performance Standards. It supersedes all previous air permits for the facility.

The related federal contract opportunity is for annual boiler plant tuning services for the Sheridan VA Medical Center, with responses due under solicitation 36C25923Q0990. The opportunity is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 19.
