B. 2 TASK ORDER DEFINITION
Task Orders. Fixed price task orders shall normally be issued bilaterally against the individual awarded IDIQ contracts from this solicitation at the Contracting Officer’s discretion. The Contracting Officer will issue a request for proposal stating the efforts to be accomplished to complete the work. The task order will be negotiated on a firm fixed price lump sum basis. The task order will be identified as either service, demolition or construction, as appropriate. If the action is for construction, a Davis-Bacon Act wage determination will accompany the request for proposal.
The following elements from the basic contract will be used as a basis in preparing each request for proposal: negotiated labor burden and G&A rates. To support the proposed price, the contractor’s proposal will include detailed backup cost details.
