About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division, dated December 3, 2025 (Wage Determination No. 2015-5189, Revision 32).

The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work in Louisiana parishes including Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, Saint John the Baptist, St Bernard, and St Charles. It provides hourly wage rates across 99 occupation codes organized into ten occupational categories: Administrative Support and Clerical Occupations (rates ranging from $14.35 to $33.28 per hour); Automotive Service Occupations ($15.85 to $25.84); Food Preparation and Service Occupations ($10.69 to $17.94); Furniture Maintenance and Repair Occupations ($13.42 to $21.97); General Services and Support Occupations ($13.30 to $21.63); Health Occupations ($13.28 to $48.72); Information and Arts Occupations ($16.58 to $41.12); Information Technology Occupations ($18.95 to $32.06); Instructional Occupations ($19.90 to $46.84); Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Occupations ($15.04 to $18.64); Machine Tool Operation and Repair ($27.01 to $34.58); Materials Handling and Packing ($11.86 to $30.35); Mechanics and Maintenance and Repair ($16.95 to $43.28); Personal Needs Occupations ($10.88 to $16.81); Plant and System Operations ($16.63 to $24.78); Protective Service Occupations ($15.51 to $26.21); Recreation Occupations ($12.21 to $24.02); Stevedoring/Longshoremen Occupational Services ($26.34 to $30.65); Technical Occupations ($17.39 to $46.67); Transportation/Mobile Equipment Operations ($11.55 to $35.43); and Miscellaneous Occupations ($12.83 to $29.47).

All listed occupations include mandatory fringe benefits: Health & Welfare at $5.55 per hour (or $222.00 weekly/$962.00 monthly) and $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13706. The determination also mandates two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after eight years, and four weeks after 15 years, plus a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Computer employees earning at least $684 per week may be exempt from wage requirements if they meet specific professional capacity criteria. Air traffic controllers and weather observers receive night differential pay and Sunday premium compensation. An eight percent hazardous pay differential applies to ordnance-related work with explosives; a four percent differential applies to lower-hazard ordnance operations. Uniforms must be provided without cost to employees, with reimbursement for cleaning and maintenance at $3.35 weekly. The determination references the Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations (Fifth Edition, September 2015) for job duty descriptions and includes procedures for conformance requests using Standard Form 1444 when unlisted occupations require wage rate determination.
