About this file
This document is a Final Questions and Answers file for a Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program event solicitation issued by the Connecticut Army National Guard. The Q&A provides critical operational details for the event, including confirmation of service requirements such as catering (buffet-style with disposable dishes), audio-visual needs (hand-held microphones, stage setup), and vendor logistics (table arrangements, electrical access, loading dock and parking availability). Key clarifications include self-service coffee/water stations, floor-length white cloth tablecloths, no childcare requirements, and vendor responsibilities limited to tables/chairs setup.
The Q&A supplements the broader solicitation (W91ZRS25QA198), which is a 100% small business set-aside for a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a Yellow Ribbon Event on August 23, 2025, at the Hartford William O'Neill Armory. The event will host approximately 1,350 participants, including 626 unit members, 626 authorized adult guests, and 48 dependent children. Contractors must submit quotes by May 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with price being the most important evaluation factor. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and prepared to be paid through Wide Area Workflow with net 30-day payment terms.
