QUESTIONS & ANSWERS DATED 8AUG2016:
General Notes: The contractor should plan to procure all items from the BOM file (v2) posted on FedBizOps as well as additional material (all cables and installation material) determined during the contractor-developed 100% design. During the 100% design process the Government will assist in providing model numbers for items that are currently TBD. For the bid process, the contractor should account for all material (with the exceptions noted below) and if assumptions are made for equipment/material, those assumptions should be stated in the bid. The contractor should note the following when responding to the solicitation:
a. Disregard the 22 series Master Parts List (PDF pages 8 and 9 of 60% IDP)
b. 40-series parts list (PDF pages 12 of 60% IDP) is only for reference
c. 70-series (PDF pages 47 to 95of 60% IDP) does not have a parts list but has cable-type information listed. This provides information for most (not all) cables that will be needed to support the installation.
d. Excel BOM (version 2) is accurate for projected quantities and part #’s of IT for the project but does not include cables/cable lengths, installation material and other material that is determined to be required between the 60% Government provided and 100% contractor-provided design. Nonetheless, the contractor must account for this by making cost assumptions in their proposal.
e. Thinklogical equipment shown in the of 60% IDP will not be procured by the contractor.
It will be provided as GFM/GFE to the contractor for installation.
Answers to contractor questions are as follows:
Q 1. Will the Government provide part numbers or configuration sheets for the TBD parts on the
BOM?
