About this file

This is a Questions & Answers document for the CCAP-DDH solicitation dated July 28, 2026, addressing bidder inquiries regarding equipment specifications, installation scope, and submission deadlines.

The document clarifies six key requirements for the air conditioning unit replacement project. Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliance is not applicable. For the 10-ton packaged air conditioning units, copper tube/aluminum fin coils are acceptable rather than requiring copper tube/copper fin coils. Ductwork replacement is limited to transition ductwork connected to the equipment only, not all exposed ductwork. Electrical work is restricted to replacing existing electrical wires and conduits from the existing disconnect switch to the new unit. Bidders are permitted to replace both existing units simultaneously rather than sequentially. The solicitation deadline was extended from August 7, 2026 to August 5, 2026 in response to a contractor request for additional time to obtain manufacturer pricing and prepare bid requirements.
