AMENDMENT 0002
The questions and answers are shown below:
1. Question: I think you need to clarification Amendment 0100.Reference to Question #5 if you read the webpage it refers to the Integralocking system (see attached) not theHT24 lock. It is a totally different lock. Caution-http://en.onity.com/services-support/Pages/After-Sale-Support.aspx < Caution-http://en.onity.com/services-support/Pages/After-Sale-Support.aspx > Also see the attached. The class for the HT24 class is only given in SalemOregon, no on-site training for Korea and you have to schedule 60 days in advance so you would need to change the install schedule. Also this is not for installation and Level 9 system, lock, key programming. It is only for maintenance of the Integra lock. You can verify this information withthe Onity Federal Sales representative Scott S.Conner, PSP, Onity Sr. US Government/Military Sales Representative631-413-7401. Email: Conner, ScottS UTC CCS <Scott.Conner@onity.com>
Answer: It is the Government's understanding that Onity will not prohibit any necessary training for the awardee from occurring within the 60 days of award. As a result, no change to the installation schedule will be made.
2. Question: Also as I told you on the phone the TAA locks are about $50.00 per lock more than the locks made in China. Does the government want a letter from Onity to verify that you are getting the TAA locks? That should be part of the solicitation because a contractor could provide you with the lowest price but they would not be the TAA locks. Only one way to verify is to get a letter from Onity USA.
Answer: No, the Government does not want a letter from Onity to verify that the Government is getting TAA locks. However, the supplier is required to provide TAA compliant locks.
