The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.
5.2 Specific Tasks
1. Obtain necessary permits.
2. Demolition of the current exposed aggregate concrete drive (approximately 467 LF of 12-feet-wide and 6-inch-deep roadway) with abandoned electric manhole and existing gravel road sections. The locations for the temporary placement of these slabs shall be as directed by the COR. After ANC Engineering personnel have selected the mock-up sample that best matches the existing Lee Drive pavement, the contractor shall remove all mock-up samples off-site except the sample that has been selected by ANC Engineering personnel. The mock-up sample that has been selected shall remain in place until end of construction. After end of construction, the contractor shall remove the selected mock-up sample, dispose of the sample off-site, and restore the area where the mock-up samples were placed to existing condition or better.

5.4 Joint spacing shall be 8-feet, and the width of each slab shall be 8-feet wide. The joints shall measure a minimum of 1.5 in depth for contraction or construction joints and 1/2-inch in width for expansion joints. The new exposed aggregate concrete mix design slabs shall have alternating expansion joints and either a contraction or a construction joint. An expansion joint shall first be placed where the new exposed aggregate concrete mix is poured at the edge of the existing concrete pavement on Lee Drive, then every 16-feet following this joint location.
The joint materials shall meet the criteria as stated in UFC 3-250-01FA Pavement Design for
Roads, Streets, Walks, and Open Storage Areas, and ASTM D6690-15 Standard Specification for Joint and Crack Sealants, Hot Applied, for Concrete and Asphalt Pavements.
6. Tie into adjacent walkways by replacing a section of current regular concrete sidewalk which lead to the Tanner Theater and three more short sidewalks as showed on Exhibit #1 with current exposed aggregate sidewalks.

This includes wash water generated during exposed aggregate concrete construction.
10. Demo existing stairs, shoulders and railings next to Tanner Amphitheater to include the upper and lower landing of the concrete. Concrete shall be replaced with the same type of exposed aggregate as the one utilize on the main sidewalk.
11. Contractor shall demolish and replace the existing shoulders. The new shoulders shall be no less than 8” in thickness.

7. Existing Lee Drive is devoid of all conventional storm water collection system (storm drain inlets and conduits). It is the intent of this project to maintain the same storm water
(sheet flow) disposal regimen after this improvement project. Post construction storm water sheet flow will dissipate into the cemetery's expansive managed turf areas.
8. ANC prohibiting stockpiling of any materials on ANC roads. ANC only allows stockpiling materials and using a laydown area inside of LOD.

The report shall provide the following information, but is not limited to: the thickness of the existing concrete slab collected; the length and width of the existing concrete slab collected; observations if the slab may contain reinforcement bars; any additional information that may be pertinent during the sampling process; and pictures showing the conditions of the existing concrete slab prior to sampling, during sampling, and after sampling. Pictures shall also be taken to reflect site conditions prior to departure. The contractor will be responsible for restoring the existing concrete pavement and gravel roadway as close to original (pre-sampling) condition as possible, and final restoration shall be approved by the COR prior to departure.
7. The resumes of the Site Manager and Alternative Site Manager submitted with proposal shall clearly meet the minimum requirements demonstrating experience and knowledge outlined…
