Carlisle Barracks Visitor's Pass Instructions
To request a pass, please complete the CbKs (DES) Form 228-R-E which will be used to vet the visitor through the National Crime Information Center Interstate Identification Index (NCIC- III) and ALERTS for a criminal history check. Upon a favorable criminal history check, an installation pass will be issued.
To have the pass prepared ahead of time, fax the completed form to the Visitor Center at (717) 245-3750. You will pick up the pass from the Carlisle Barracks Visitor Center when you arrive for your site visit. You can also call 717-245-3721 / 245-3733 / 245-3725 for email instructions.
If you are unable to send your CbKs (DES) Form 228-R-E ahead of time, you should arrive early to the Carlisle Barracks Visitor Center to request a pass.
The Carlisle Barracks Visitor Center is located at 870 Jim Thorpe, and is open M-F 0700-1700.
For more information about access to Carlisle Barracks, please go to the Visitor Center website:
https://www.armywarcollege.edu/visitorcenter/
Please do not send your completed CbKs (DES) Form 228-R-E to the Contracting Office!
Your CbKs (DES) Form 228-R-E needs to be submitted to the Visitor Center ONLY. To send it to the Contracting Office will constitute a reportable 'leak' of Personally Identifying Information (PII). Please don't make us do that paperwork again!
The only document that you will send to the Contracting Office is your Registration from page 2.
