About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) section addressing site visit procedures and location details for a federal contract opportunity at the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATC).

ATC will permit site visits on Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday, with January 23rd being an RDO (Regularly Scheduled Day Off). All scheduling guidance is available at https://www.atec.army.mil/atc/visitorGuide/visitor_into.html. Prospective contractors should coordinate with Primary Point of Contact Jeffery Ford (jeffrey.c.ford.civ@army.mil) or Secondary POC Pat Hamilton (gillis.p.hamilton.civ@army.mil) for entry and on-site access, ensuring they follow base access, badging requirements, PPE protocols, and escort procedures as outlined in the visitor guide. The work location is the railroad crossing behind Building B436 on the northern side of the crossing, where an asphalt pad is available to house railcars. Critical constraint: the railroad crossing must remain passable and traffic cannot be blocked. This site-specific constraint will significantly influence contractor selection of appropriate railcar handling and repositioning methods.
