5 For Pathfinder S, does this need a "top" marking as well? No
6 For Pathfinder S, it states that "the ballistic cover shall be a lightweight, nylon ripstop that does not exceed 70 denier 1.9 oz" - this does not specify a finish like it does for the MSV in the AR/PD. So, for the 70 denier ripstop, we need to know the finish. The finish you use must be sufficient to meet all the requirements for test. In particular the operating Environment Requirements for Pathfinder-S detailed in Appendix B (Table B-II & Section B2).
7 On page 7, section 2.1 of the SOW it states:
The following documentation will be provided in Section J of the contract.
• Purchase Description (PD) Shoot Pack, Ballistic Testing AR/PD 11-01, (hereafter referred to as the “PD”);
• Pathfinder S Technical Design Package (TDP).
• MSV B100 TDP
a. We have been unable to locate the Pathfinder S Technical Design Package (TDP) or MSV B100 TDP.
b. These documents are needed to complete the PDMs.
The vendor needs to submit a request for Access to Limited Distribution Materials to the Contract Specialist in accordance with the terms of the RFP.
8 On page 56 under Section L (ii) VOLUME II – PRICE (Factor 2), there is a reference to the “Pricing evaluation matrix”.
a. We were unable to locate the pricing evaluation matrix in the documentation provided.
b. Should we create our own spreadsheet for pricing evaluation?
Pricing matrix should be generated by the vendor to clearly lay out the price for each shoot pack.
9 On page 60 under the instructions for VOLUME III – PAST PERFORMANCE (Factor 3), there is a requirement for Past Performance Questionnaires.
a. We were unable to locate the questionnaire in the documentation provided.
b. Will a questionnaire be provided or should we prepare our own?
A questionnaire has been provided with the Amendment.
