Firm-Fixed Price Construction Project Project No: WYTD162018-ADAL Simulator Bldg. at Toledo Air National Guard Base (TANGB), Swanton Ohio.

This is for Add/Alteration of an Existing Multi-Purpose Building #158 to House an L3 4-Ship F-16 Mission Training Center (Flight Simulators) at Toledo ANG Base, OH; Repair by Replacement and Addition. Renovation of 7,080-SF and New Addition of 2,120-SF for Roof/Ceiling, Windows, Int/Ext Doors, Plumbing, Mechanical, Elec, Fire Protection Systems, Interior Walls, Ceilings and Finishes. Repair Utilities, Storm, Site Improvements, Access Drive, Walkways. Security Vault Sim Space. Reinforced Concrete Foundations & Floor Slab, Steel Frame Structure w Masonry Walls & SSM Roof. Bring current building to required Security needs.

CLIN Pricing Description

Base Bid-CLIN 0001-addition – This cost is the cost of the additional area constructed outside of the original footprint to include an apportioned amount of building services systems except for communications wiring and equipment. Statutory Cost limitation: 2 Million

Base Bid-CLIN 0002-renovation – This CLIN includes the cost of all demolition activities, utility upgrades, and renovations and upgrades to facility and building service systems except for communications wiring and equipment.

Base Bid-CLIN 0003-communication – This CLIN includes the cost of wiring, terminations, testing and equipment, but does not include conduit/boxes/cable tray.

PRICE

As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price & Responsibility.

CONSTRUCTION WAGE RATES/BONDS

Most current DOL Construction Wage rates will apply OH190088 Currently MOD 0 (01-04-2019) Lucas County Amendments will be issued for updated rates (within 5 days of bid opening).

IFB DUE DATE

11 March 2019 @ 1:30 PM EDT Will only be changed by issuing an Amendment to IFB

General Working Conditions Clean-up as needed to prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD) from blowing around the base.

All vehicles entering the base will be inspected daily.

All construction workers on site will require a background investigation (SFS77) and will be issued a security badge.

Deliveries will be allowed access with an escort. Suggest suppliers have delivery personnel badged (SFS77)to avoid delays for escorts.

General Conditions Electricity and water available will provided in reasonable amounts to facilitate construction.

Fuel for temporary heating if required shall be furnished by the contractor.

POV Parking shall be in centrally located parking lots outside of the construction area.

Construction vehicles and equipment may be kept on site as approved by the Contracting Officer and coordinated with the COR Provide a minimum of 7 days notice in writing to the contracting officer prior to any road or utility disruptions.
