About this file
The document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a X-ray Diffraction (XRD) System issued by the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL). The solicitation seeks a compact, stand-alone, advanced XRD system with specific technical requirements, and vendors are required to submit a detailed technical description of their proposed system by August 25, 2025.
The file includes a specific technical query about the automation interface for the XRD system, seeking clarification on sample preparation and loading capabilities. The document requests vendors to provide information about an existing or planned automated sample preparation system, including manufacturer details, system functionality, and whether such a system should be quoted alongside the XRD instrument. Responses must be submitted via email to CERL-CT-QUOTES@usace.army.mil, with telephone responses explicitly not accepted.
