About this file

This document is Amendment 0002 to solicitation W912WJ26QA044, issued by the W2SD Endist New England KO Contracting Division on February 18, 2026. The amendment extends the solicitation closing deadline to February 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM Eastern and provides responses to 15 industry questions regarding mold remediation services at the Colebrook River Lake office in Connecticut.

Key clarifications include: contractors must follow Connecticut S520 Guide for Professional Mold Remediation requirements regardless of state of origin; prevailing wage requirements apply; the building has been tested and confirmed to contain mold; pesticide applicator certification need not be Connecticut-based; a roof leak is suspected but unconfirmed; work includes the utility room area with visible mold; the building will remain occupied during remediation; personal protective equipment and safety approvals are not required for site visits; the Solicitation Survey 26QA044 must be completed and submitted with quotes; recent demolition work occurred within the past four months; the roof has not been repaired; work encompasses approximately 200 square feet in the main office but excludes the adjacent small office. The amendment also modifies FAR clause 52.212-2 to establish evaluation criteria of Technical, Price, and Past Performance for quote award determination.
