About this file
This document is an Amendment 0003 to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Rough River Lake Axtel WWTP Replacement project in McDaniels, Kentucky. The amendment, issued by the Louisville District, Corps of Engineers, extends the proposal submission deadline from 01 August 2025 to 08 August 2025 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time and adds Optional Bid Item B to the Price Breakout Schedule. The target ceiling for the task order award is $1,100,000.00, with the government unable to guarantee funds exceeding this amount.
The Price Breakout Schedule includes a base proposal for design and construction of an on-site sewage treatment and dispersal system, with two optional bid items: Item A for constructing a control shelter and Item B for drip field soil. Optional Bid Item B allows for the purchase of up to 100 times 10 cubic yards of soil, with the amount and location to be determined by the Designer of Record and approved by the Kentucky Department for Public Health. Proposals will be evaluated on low price, and all bidders must submit prices for each line item to avoid being deemed unacceptable.
