About this file
This document is an Amendment 0001 to a National Roofing Program (NRP) Federal contract for roof replacement at two U.S. Army Reserve facilities in Minnesota. The project covers roof replacements at two locations:
MN001 in Arden Hills (37,619 sq ft) will replace an existing architectural shingle roof with a new architectural shingle roof, while MN005 in Buffalo (21,896 sq ft total) will replace four existing EPDM single-ply membrane roof sections with 2-ply modified bitumen roofing. The contract requires design and construction services, including site investigations, engineering analysis, and compliance with building codes. Key requirements include installing roof access ladders, removing 2-8 inches of existing insulation, and potentially repairing up to 10% of damaged roof decking. The proposal is due on 25 August 2025, with a base bid period of 300 days from Notice to Proceed. Contractors must have a Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) with at least 10 years of roof repair experience, and the project involves additional work such as replacing exterior sealants and reinstalling mechanical equipment.
