About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for three Iowa Medical Exams federal contract opportunities issued by the Army Corps of Engineers (W912LP-26-Q-4003, 4005, 4007) covering Waterloo, Des Moines & Boone, and Davenport locations.

The document clarifies key requirements for occupational health medical examination services. Lab draws under section 5.7.2.1 must include standard equipment for applicable testing, with an estimated quantity of 23 labs per the Performance Work Statement. A fixed facility requirement is mandatory; the Government does not accept on-site services completed over 1-3 days, though a fixed clinic or hospital is noted as beneficial for follow-up appointments. All three contract locations have incumbents: W912LP25PA030 (Waterloo), W912LP25PA012 (Davenport), and W912LP25PA025 (Des Moines & Boone). Mid-level providers with occupational health knowledge are now authorized to perform all examinations, including dermatologic exams, across all contracts; an amendment to the solicitation clarified this provision which previously required physicians to conduct dermatologic exams at the Des Moines/Boone location.
