About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for solicitation W912LN-25-Q-A018, dated 6/24/2025, concerning the Agricultural Wash & Sanitization of Equipment for the 86th IBCT (MTN). The Q&A addresses eight key questions from potential contractors regarding the equipment washing process, including confirmation that containers will be empty, clarification on washing procedures, and equipment movement logistics. Notable details include the requirement to wash unit equipment with high-pressure water at Building 6's wash bay, with sanitization to be performed to the satisfaction of a United States Government veterinarian representative.
The document reveals several pending items that will require further clarification, such as cleaning interior cab spaces and wastewater containment specifications. A significant correction was made regarding the Virkon S sanitization contact time, which was changed from 60 minutes to 10 minutes to align with manufacturer recommendations. The Government will provide personnel to move equipment at the pace of the contractor's team, and batch washing of multiple equipment units is acceptable, with sanitization to be conducted afterward. The last day for submitting questions was set as 5 business days prior to the due date.
