W912LC-20-Q-0026
13 Feb 2020
Q1. Is a VoIP solution acceptable?
A1. VoIP is a preferred format for communications for the service bundle.
Q2. We install service via our cloud based VoIP platform. For analog equipment we connect our router/equipment to the existing 66 block via our ATA (analog telephone adapter). Is this acceptable?
A2. This is an acceptable practice relating to analog capabilities. In the event of emergency situations or power outages this is a need in case we encounter deprecated issues with VoIP. Fax capabilities on analog lines is also a desired capability. Some hospitals will only fax to an analog line (HIPPAA considerations).
Q3. Does this call for 5 separate phone lines with voicemail, 5 separate desktop phones with handsfree or 1 phone line with voicemail for 5 users and 1 desktop phone that will be used by 5 users?
A3. 5 separate phone lines with voicemail, 5 separate desktop phones with hands free capability.
