About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity W912L8-26-Q-A023, a brush clearing service requirement for the Department of the Army scheduled for June 2026 at Glen Jean, West Virginia.
Offerors must submit quotes using the completed SF 1449 form with pricing, certifications, and signatures as separate PDF attachments to avoid submission issues. No technical proposal, past performance references, or page limitations are required. A site visit is scheduled for June 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM at 409 Wood Mountain Road, Glen Jean, WV, but attendance is not mandatory; however, representatives may attend on behalf of vendors, with no virtual attendance option available. The contract is a new requirement with no incumbent, and acreage and brush density information are available in the Statement of Work on SAM.gov. No government estimate or magnitude of work has been provided. Offerors may be required to provide proof of pesticide license for pesticide application work, though no additional documentation is needed at the time of quote submission.
