Building 720

1. Can we get a line drawing and/or an equipment list for the existing system in Building 720? We need to know what inputs and outputs are available on the current system, as well as to be able to determine if any input or output cards need to be added to accommodate the addition of the codec.

Please see as builts and equipment listing. Govt has not changed any input or output devices from the original design.

2. Multisite license. Section 2.1 mentions “associated control and multisite software options for integration”, but the asked and answered questions mentions that multisite is not required. Please clarify.

For budgetary planning, request that MultiSite licensing be quoted as an option for the NIPR and SIPR codecs.

3. There is mention of a SIPR codec as well as an unclassified codec. Should there be a quantity of (2) SX80’s, or is there an OFE codec we will also be integrating? There was talk on site about an EOL Cisco C40.

Govt requires the capability for VTC on the NIPR and SIPR networks. This project does not intend to replace the existing C40 due to pricing/budgetary requirements.

Government requirement does not specifically require two SX80’s, but will consider all quotes that meet the minimum requirements.

4. What are the physical separation requirements of the secure equipment?

Pending further clarification, 3 meter or approximately 39” of separation will be required between classified/unclassified equipment. Government will provide power and data connection at any location required to accommodate this requirement.
