About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation W912K625Q0001 regarding the MD ARNG Yellow Ribbon Event 2025. The Q&A clarifies several key requirements: 1) The contract is a Small Business set-aside and the government will only contract with small businesses meeting solicitation criteria, not directly with hotels; 2) The events will take place on two separate dates - January 11, 2025 (with check-in January 10) and January 25, 2025 (with check-in January 24), both being Saturday events with one-night stays; 3) No tax-exempt forms will be provided and quotes/proposals should exclude tax fees.
Additional clarifications include that transportation services will not be covered by the government and lodging must be at the same location as the event. Regarding childcare, the government confirms a requirement for 2 childcare providers, noting that while space is needed for up to 40 children, actual attendance is expected to be lower. The Q&A references a revised Statement of Work dated 12-5-2024 with updated lodging requirements in paragraph 5.2.

MD ARNG YELLOW RIBBON EVENT 2025
1. Would you prefer to contract directly with the hotel, or would you rather work with a third-party small business to facilitate the agreement? It seems the Sheraton Baltimore North is already engaging with the government on this matter, and understanding your preference will help ensure a smooth process.
Ans. This is a Small Business set-aside requirement, and the government will only do contract with the Small Business entity that meets the solicitation criteria.
