QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1-15

Question 1: Is there a DWG CAD file available for the above project that you could send me please?

Answer 1: Yes, will provide CAD file format; CAD file to be uploaded when available via another amendment.

Question 2: We are a steel casework cabinet company that manufactures and ships from California. If I bid this job (the cabinets / benches) required will we need to add installation into quote or will there be an installer team to assemble and put in place on site?

Answer 2: Installation required. Stated under “Purpose” and “Delivery Schedule” in the announcement and in the attached SOW.

Question 3: Are you requesting furniture manufactured by a specific brand, or would an 'equal' suffice?

Answer 3: Brand not specified; or “equal” would suffice.

Question 4: One question regarding the above mentioned RFQ. I represent (???) and we are a furniture systems manufacturer on (???) under NAICS 337214. We are considered “other than small business.” However, we have multiple distributors who also hold their own GSA schedules and are considered small businesses.

Given that literally only a couple of furniture systems manufacturers are small businesses would you consider a RFQ from a small business on GSA schedule (with full small business credit to the agency) that is quoting products from a “other than small” business?

Answer 4: Set Aside: Total Small Business. Refer to the Non-manufacturer rule for small businesses.

Question 5: I didn't see anything specified for material type for most of the L and U stations. Is wood or laminate preferred?

Answer 5: Refer to the NAICS 337214 product description; “….(except wood)…” Laminate is accepted.

Question 6: Can you please send me the FBO_FloorPlan_HDGRC_Furniture.pdf in its original .dwg (CAD) format?

Answer 6: Refer to Answer 1.

Question 7: Is there a required delivery date for the furniture? If so, what is the date?
