Questions and Answers

18SEP24:

1. Can you please clarify the CLIN’s for Corrective Maintenance FFP? There is a request to provide

CM costs on a spreadsheet indicating fixed labor rates and markups. Should this CLIN be responded to by requesting the reviewer to reference the attachment which includes the line item costing? Since CM costs are determined after site inspection there is not a acute way to assume max cost or unit price aside from the spreadsheet. Can you please clarify the intent?

Answer: Bid an hourly price for each Labor line-item and percentage for Overhead & Profit that will be applied to each Corrective Maintenance (CM) order during the life of the contract. The number of labors hours will be determined later during Preventative Maintenance (PM) inspection at which time the contractor will submit number of labor hours to the government for approval.

19SEP24:

2. Would the government consider an extension of the due date for this RFQ to 9/25/2024.

We would like that for addition time rudiments for research purposes for equipment pricing and potential subcontractors.

Answer: An extension is approved for 24 hours from the original due by date. This extends the RFQ period to Tuesday, 24SEP24 at 1100 EST. A formal amendment has been posted with this change.

23SEP24:

3. Do we know how many devices are included with each system? How many devices, typically, would a vault have etc. for each system type?

Answer: The panel attachment in the Performance Work Statement (see PWS Attachment 1- IDS Panel Locations) are all panels associated with this solicitation. Peripheral devices are unknown at this time. Preventative Maintenance for this project requires the awardee to inventory the panels/ devices as per the Performance Work Statement (Section 5.2.4.).

Per the contract, with emergency services to prevent the need for an armed guard, this somewhat assumes that the contractor must stock systems and supplies on hand to be able to make repairs quickly. Could you give us an approximation of equipment we should have in stock so we can reasonably cover providing up front stock that can be replenished?

Answer: Response in 24-48 hours is to assess the emergency, then follow-on action to repair it.

Please reference PWS section 5.3.4.1- POP for Emergency Task Orders.
