About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers (Q&A) related to a federal solicitation for a debris removal project involving approximately 250,000 cubic yards of work. Key details include specific licensing requirements for contractors (a valid Landscape and/or Land-Clearing License from South Carolina is mandatory), with clarification that general contractor licenses from other states may not be automatically accepted. The solicitation allows joint ventures to compete if they meet FAR 52.219-14 requirements.
Pricing and submission details indicate that offerors should provide a total unit price for the entire job on the Standard Form 1449, with the amount section encompassing the total contract cost. Contractors must complete an Accident Prevention Plan per EM 385-1-1 prior to starting work, and site visits are permitted during the solicitation period. Potential bidders are directed to review documents on SAM.gov and follow submission instructions in section 52.212-2 of the solicitation, with specific attention to the CLIN schedule located on page three of the document.
