About this file
This document is a specification amendment (Specification 01 14 00.00 13, paragraph 1.3.4) addressing loading dock and river access details for the Lock & Dam 7 Outdraft Modification project. The specification outlines shared use requirements for the loading dock and parking lot, with the contractor required to keep the area clear of equipment and materials and be prepared to vacate within 24 hours of government notice. The government anticipates specific dates (22 July, 24 July, 29 July, and 31 July) for miter gate replacement, though these dates are subject to change.
For river access at the LD7 loading dock, the contractor must provide a 30-day notice to the Contracting Officer for approval, with the government providing a 100-foot wide, 9-foot deep channel. The loading dock and river access may be utilized by multiple contractors and the government, necessitating coordination with the Contracting Officer. This specification is part of a small business set-aside contract valued between $5 million and $10 million for the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District St. Paul.
