About this file
This document is Amendment 0001 to RFQ W912DY-26-Q-A073, issued by the U.S. Army Engineer Support Center (W912DY) at Huntsville, Alabama, effective April 14, 2026. The amendment provides responses to vendor questions regarding the scope of work for microwave installation at Fort Huachuca and Fort Carson locations.
The amendment clarifies delivery and installation requirements for two separate buildings. Building 52309 requires delivery and offload only into the warehouse, which has a loading dock available. Building 1954 at Fort Carson requires full installation services, including delivery to a three-story building with no elevator access. The revised Statement of Work (Attachment 3, dated April 13, 2026) specifies that Building 1954 installation involves placement of microwaves with comprehensive contractor responsibilities including unloading, placement, assembly, cleaning, and disposal of packaging materials. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and power cords for full functionality. Work hours are 0700-1600, with delivery trucks able to access within 20 feet of buildings via exterior hallways. All installation work must comply with Fort Carson security requirements, including entry through Gate 1 with valid driver's licenses, insurance documentation, and background clearance. The statement of work includes detailed safety requirements per FAR and Army standards, including accident prevention plans, site safety and health officer requirements, and security/OPSEC compliance measures. Recyclable cardboard must be delivered to Building 1535 South Sheridan Avenue, Fort Carson, CO 80913.

The number of rooms that must be completed per day will be stated in the Table 1 of the Statement of Work (SOW). If there is a limited space for containers in the staging area, this will also be noted in the Table 1 of the Statement of Work. This information is important as it may dictate how the containers are loaded for delivery.

10.6 Site-Specific Addendum (SSA). SSAs are required for each site if work will be conducted on two or more distinct sites. The SSAs shall be submitted to the KO Furnishings invoice box for review and acceptance by the CEHNC Safety Office prior to work starting.
