Vendor Questions RFQ Fort Bragg- W912DY20Q0209 Human Performance Center, THOR3
Dated 8/21/20
1. With the install start date of 1/11/21 to the completion date of 5/3/21, we would be able to ship our products out anytime in between these dates or even near the completion date. It would not be necessary for equipment to be stored. Do we need to address the necessity of storing our equipment and indicating a price for this?
HNC Response: Please review the SOW for installation of the equipment. Product cannot be shipped to site, but requires installation. Install start date means product can now begin installing in the building and the product must be completely installed by the furniture install completion date listed in the contract. An install schedule can be discussed during the post award meeting after the contract has been awarded.
A storage cost is required to be provided with your submittal. However, the amount quoted is up to you.
2. Please confirm vendors can submit pricing on select line items. For example, line #95 is for our TRUE stretch cage, but we would be able to quote on other line items as well.
HNC Response: Vendors shall quote on every line item in the package.
3. Page 13, Instruction to Quoters: Item 2 indicates we are to include 6 months of storage in the
SF-1449 form on each of the two storage CLINs. The SF-1449 only includes 1 Storage CLIN.
Please clarify.
HNC Response: Please submit storage price for storage CLIN 0002 only.
4. Page 13, Instruction to Quoters: Item 2 indicates we are to include 6 months of storage for items that may depart the CONUS. Please clarify intent of this statement since Ft. Bragg is not OCONUS.
HNC Response: This requirement is CONUS Only. It will not depart from CONUS.
5. Page 13, Instruction to Quoters: Item 2: Please clarify if the Quoter is to assume all items are to be stored for 6 months for this CLIN or if it is phased based on our installation plan.
HNC Response: Storage is only used in the case of a delay due to construction or something outside the vendors’ control. Storage is a modification to the contract and is not included in the award.
6. Attachment 7 indicates an Attachment 8. Please provide.
HNC Response: Please see new Att. #8 and fill out the top portion along with the 6 questions. This is the technical review form where HNC will provide comments back to each vendor.
7. Attachment 7 indicates Furniture Item Descriptions (FID) 1 in question 1; (FID) 2 in question 2 and FID 3 in question 3. Please clarify locations of FID 1, 2 and 3.
HNC Response: This is your technical responses to the solicitation. This requirement has one FID. On Attachment 7, please complete question 1-6 . FID has sections, the questions refer to the section in the FID you should go to make sure the vendor documents are technical acceptable.
8. Attachment 1 – Pricing – Please advise where we include project management and OH&P.
HNC Response: All of your costs to fully install all items per the SOW and FID are to be listed under the installation cost.
9. Attachment 1 – Pricing – Please clarify intent of the GSA price vs. the Huntsville Price.
HNC Response: GSA price is the items list price on your GSA contract. Huntsville’s price is either equal to the GSA pricing or less than if additional discounts apply.
