Question(s) as of 28 June 2023 and Government Response

Question:

The RFP states samples will be collected July-September and the PoP states 8 months from contract award. Can you confirm if we would expect to receive all ~1500 samples during those first three months or is the extra time in the PoP because the shipments are likely to get stretched out into months beyond September? We are trying to gauge the true weekly sample load to confirm there are no hold time issues.

Government response:

500 samples a month will be collected during the first three months. The samples will be frozen in the field, so the holding time is one year from collection as long as they stay frozen. Once they are unfrozen, the 14 day holding time clock begins.
