About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for the Mid Chesapeake Bay Barren Island Restoration Project being conducted by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Baltimore. The purpose of the amendment is to revise the liquidated damages clause in FAR 52.211-12 and provide an updated price schedule. The project involves stone sills, a stone breakwater, and other restoration work on Barren Island. Bidders must quote unit prices for items like various stone types, geotextile, mobilization, and bonds. Optional items may be exercised within 60 days of notice to proceed. Variations in estimated quantities of over 15% will result in equitable price adjustments. The period of performance will be extended 180 days if options are exercised. Liquidated damages are $5,870 per calendar day for delays in completion.
