Past performance submissions must be limited to the three most recent and applicable performances within the last five years with no formatting restrictions. Any proposed subcontracting for hauling services must be addressed in the technical quote and approved by the Contracting Officer before contract award. 8. If previous incumbent exists, when is the contract set to end?

9. Is there a set budget for this solicitation?

We are unable to disclose that information.

10. Is there a projected award and start date?

Please refer to Section 1.3 of the Performance of Work Statement for the projected start date. The tentative award date is estimated to be 09 SEP 2026.

11. Does the Government require routine cleaning, washing, or sanitizing of the contractor-furnished 6-yard dumpster? If so, please specify the required frequency or performance standard.

No routine cleaning, washing or sanitizing is required.

12. Section 5.2.2 of the Performance of Work Statement requires the dumpster to be emptied weekly, and Section 1.7 establishes operating hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Will the Government designate a specific weekly pickup day, or may the contractor establish the recurring service day in coordination with the COR?

The Contractor may establish the recurring service day in coordination with the COR.

13. If a scheduled weekly pickup falls on a Federal Holiday, administrative closure, emergency closure, or other Government-directed facility closure, may the service be performed on the next available business day without being considered a service discrepancy?

Yes, the service may be performed on the next available business day after any closures.

14. Please clarify responsibility for repair or replacement costs if the contractor-furnished dumpster is damaged due to vandalism, wildlife, Government activity, or other circumstances not resulting from contractor negligence.

Repair or replacement costs will only be considered If the dumpster is damaged by Government personnel.

Can the Government provide the average or estimated weekly volume (or historical tonnage/pickup count) currently generated at the Chatfield Maintenance Shop, so we can properly size our handling approach? A single weekly pickup of the 6-yard dumpster is sufficient in all seasons; there is no historical tonnage or pickup count information to be provided.

16. Is a gate code, key, or escort required to access the dumpster location at the Maintenance Shop off Deer Creek Canyon Road? Are there any restrictions outside of the stated 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday hours?

No gate code, key or escort is required to access the dumpster location at the maintenance shop during the stated business hours. There are no restrictions as long as pickups occur during the stated business hours.

17. Could the Government provide a higher-resolution copy of the site map/GPS coordinates for the dumpster location referenced in Section 5.2.1 of the Performance of Work Statement? The version posted in the solicitation is difficult to read clearly.

The GPS coordinates are 39°33'23.5"N 105°04'41.9"W.

18. Please confirm the Contractor is required to furnish and own/lease its own 6-yard front-load dumpster container, per Section 4.3 of the Performance of Work Statement, rather than use of an existing Government-owned container.

Yes, the Contractor is required to furnish the dumpster container.

19. Approximately how far is the site from a potential disposal facility/landfill, or is there a specific facility the Government expect offerors to use, to help us eliminate estimate mileage/fuel costs?

No specific facility/landfill is expected to be used.

20. Are there any recycling requirements, or restrictions on what may/may not be placed in the dumpster (e.g., hazardous materials, construction debris, tires, batteries)?

There are no recycling requirements, and the Government users will follow typical restrictions on the use of dumpsters.

21. Section 1.4.2 of the Performance of Work Statement states no subcontracting is allowed without written Contracting Officer approval. If we intend to use a hauling subcontractor for a portion of the performance, what is the process/timeline for requesting that approval, and should it be addressed in our technical quote?

It should be addressed in the technical quote. Then, if the quote is competitive, the Contracting Officer can engage in dialog with the Contractor. This should be approved before the Contract is awarded.
