Text version

1. Is this a new requirement? Or, has this been extracted from the larger MVIS contract?

This was extracted and edited form a larger contract. It has been recently de-scoped as to its overall mission. Studio Photography is the only mission element that remains.

2. Please provide historical workload data for studio photography and on-location photography.

On location photography is not a requirement. That was a legacy mission element prior to a recent de-scoping of the mission. The photo studio averages 1200 studio appointments annually.

3. How many studio photographers currently support this effort?

One photographer handles all the studio photography

4. Do additional photographers support on-location photography?

No, that was a legacy mission element prior to a recent de-scoping of the mission.

5. Is alert photography required under this effort?

No, alert photography in not required

6. Are the Executive Administrative Assistant (EAA) and Project Manager (PM) roles held by the same individual?

Yes the Administrative Assistant can also preform the role of Project Manager.

7. Is it acceptable if an FTE Photographer perform the duties of EAA/PM?

Yes the photographer may also perform those duties as well

8. Please provide a floor plan of the photo studio space.

For security reasons, I do not think I can give out the floor plans of buildings on the installation to random civilian entities. I can relay that the DA Photo studio is roughly a 325 sq. ft. room and the DA Portrait is approximately 400 sq. ft. in size.

The building also has two dressing rooms, television sound stage/set, small kitchenette, 4 administrate offices, and a customer lobby/reception area.

9. How many studio set-ups are located in the RSAPS?

There are two studios located in Building 3434. One is DA Photographs and the other is DA Portrait (a.k.a. Command or Head and Shoulder) and other official.

10. In light of questions needing to be answered, will the Government extend the due date?

This question is for ACC-RSA to answer, I am not authorized to set/adjust due dates

11. Please provide clarification on the work hours for the Photographers and the Photo Studio.

Different areas of the PWS reference different hours. One section refers to the Studio being open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, another references core hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and a third area references work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Customer service hours are 0800-1600 Tuesday through Thursday. The 0700-1700 time frame is the window to accommodate customer service hours, lunch, and any breaks. Tuesday through Thursday are the only dates in which mission support occurs.

12. To be clear, please confirm that no photo studio appointments are scheduled on Mondays and Fridays.

Correct, Tuesday through Thursday only.

13. Responses from offerors (Section D part 3), does this required information reference the on-site EAA/PM, or is it required of the Company’s Contract Manager supporting this requirement.

This question is for ACC-RSA to answer.

14. Does this effort require staff obtain security clearances?

As only studio photography is performed, security clearances are not required.

15. Section 5.10 references Computer Systems, specifically that staff is responsible for updating web content. Please clarify this requirement of photo staff.

This requirement is no longer needed. That was a legacy mission element prior to a recent de-scoping of the overall mission.
