About this file
This is Amendment 0003 to Solicitation W9124M26QA016, issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Directorate of Contracting at Fort Stewart, Georgia on 13 August 2026. The amendment extends the response due date from 18 August 2026 to 24 August 2026 and adds two new contract line items (CLINs). CLIN 0003 is a new Bi-Monthly preventative maintenance and emergency services line item with a quantity of 6 bimonthly service periods under a Firm Fixed Price arrangement, utilizing Product Service Code J046 (Maintenance, Installation, and Repair Services) and NAICS code 238220. The amendment also modifies existing CLINs by separating the water softener system equipment (CLIN 0001) from its installation, which is now a separate Option CLIN 0002 for one installation event occurring between 22 September 2026 and 21 October 2026. Option CLIN 1001 converts from an "Each" unit of measure to "Bimonthly" and represents ongoing maintenance support.
The procurement requires a duplex (two-tank) alternating water softener system with specified technical parameters including 65 GPM continuous flow, 208,000 grains softening capacity, and corrosion-resistant fiber-reinforced plastic tanks measuring approximately 21 inches diameter by 62-67 inches height. The contractor must furnish factory-trained technicians for on-site assembly (minimum 2 personnel for 1 day), system startup and calibration, operator training, and a 24-month preventive maintenance agreement consisting of 6 bimonthly inspection and testing visits. The system package includes duplex integration kit, dual pressure gauge kits, plumbing adapters, and minimum 35 bags of high-purity water softener salt, plus annual salt supply delivery of 120 bags (4,800 pounds). Performance of work occurs at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida (DoDAAC W5870W). All payment requests and receiving reports must be submitted electronically through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system using specified routing data including Pay Official DoDAAC HQ0490, Issue By and Admin DoDAAC W9124M, and Inspect By/Ship To/Service Approver DoDAAC W5870W.
