About this file
This document is an Amendment 001 for solicitation W9124J25QLL02 issued by the Department of the Army Field Directorate Office at Fort Sam Houston, addressing a contract for portable latrines and handwashing stations. The amendment clarifies key details including that the government has existing contracts (W911SG-24-P-0090 and W911SG23P0014) for similar services involving 25 total latrines and handwashing stations in Rio Grande and Laredo. The solicitation requires the contractor to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and services for portable facilities, including waste disposal in compliance with local, state, and federal laws, with 45 different service locations mapped out.
The amendment addresses multiple contractor questions, notably revising the bid sheet to change quantities from 20 months to 12 months for CLINS 2001 through 5002. Key operational details include that water will not be provided by the government, no locks are required for latrines, units will not be in locked areas, and service can begin Thursday afternoon and continue through the evening as needed. The solicitation closing date remains 15 August, unchanged by this amendment, with SSG Leona Lu listed as the point of contact at 520-714-8619.
