About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details electrical base feed and power whip installation services for the United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) headquarters in North Chicago, Illinois. The project requires installing 29 new 120V electrical base feeds in multiple rooms (309, 310, 400, 400B, 400C, and 404A) and three base electrical feeds with six power whips in Room 127, originating from existing electrical panels located approximately three feet from workstations.

The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision to complete the installation, including disconnecting and removing old furniture base feeds, routing conduits and cabling, and ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and local codes. Specific requirements include hardwired connections to modular workstation systems, using copper conductors, and coordinating with furniture installers during assembly. Deliverables include fully tested base feeds and power whips, as-built drawings, electrical test reports, and inspection documentation. The work is to be performed during standard business hours (0800-1600) within 30 days of contract award, with all electrical work performed by licensed electricians certified under Illinois law.
