About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation W9124D25QA264, addressing a diesel fuel delivery contract for Fort Knox, Kentucky. The solicitation seeks approximately 138,558 gallons of diesel fuel to be delivered to multiple locations over a one-year period, with deliveries typically exceeding 200 gallons and a 24-hour delivery requirement. Key points from the Q&A include confirmation that this is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) supply contract, payment will be invoiced per delivery, and deliveries are subject to change based on operational demands. The previous contract (SPE600-15-C-5007) was for similar services, and additional location and delivery details are referenced in the Statement of Work (SOW) and Technical Exhibits A and B, which contain generator location lists and maps.

The Q&A covers various contractor inquiries, including payment methods (Wide Area Workflow), delivery logistics, subcontracting limitations, and specific requirements for fuel delivery to backup generators. Contractors are directed to reference specific sections of the solicitation documents for detailed information about delivery locations, tank configurations, and access requirements. The government will award the contract to the lowest-priced, responsive quote from a responsible offeror, with communication to be maintained through specified Army contracting personnel.
