SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been modified:

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Questions and Answers Q1: I would like to submit a bid for this contract, but I don't know what the quantity to request quotes for, is this something you can help with?

Government Response: Please see the pricing sheet or Attachment 5.

Q2: Is there currently an incumbent? If so, what was the last previous contract value? In addition, for requiring access onto base for the Site Visit is a NCIC background check something I will have to inquire on my own or will that be done on arrival?

Government Response: Yes, there is an incumbent. To obtain this information, you may submit a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request via the MICC FOIA Mailbox at usarmy.jbsa.acc-micc.mbx.foia@army.mil or by mail to:

Department of the Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command Office of Counsel 2219 Infantry Post Road Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX 78234-1361

Access to base for the Site Visit will be done at arrival.

Q3: A detailed breakdown of the laundry and dry-cleaning services required

- Any specific certifications or qualifications required for the subcontractor

- Particular challenges or nuances we should be aware of when finding a subcontractor

- Specific timelines or milestones we need to meet

Government Response: All requirements have been outlined in the solicitation and attachments (PWS, PRS, etc.…); therefore, please refer the documents.

Q4: Good day, is there currently an incumbent if so, what is their name, what is the contract number, and what is the contract value please?

Government Response: Please refer to the Government’s response in question 2.

Q5: How many people currently work in Bldg. 2215? What are the operational hours of Bldg. 2215? Who currently holds the contract? What is the value of the current contract?

b. Please refer to PWS for hours of operation.

c. Please refer to the Government’s response in question 2.

Q6: I’m unable to attend today’s site visit. Can you confirm if attending the site visit is required for my proposal/bid to be considered?

Government Response: Attending the site visit is not required for a proposal/bid to be considered.

Q7: Could you share who the incumbent contractor is?

Q11: Could you provide the typical monthly volume, instead of dividing the annual volume by 12 months?

Government Response: Due to quantities fluctuating monthly, an accurate representation of a typical monthly volume cannot be given. Therefore, dividing the annual quantities by 12 months will best represent the workload for an entire PoP.

Q12: Are there any specific formatting requirements for the proposal submission, such as page limits or other guidelines?

Government Response: No particular formatting requirements other than printing shall be easily readable.

Q13: Have there been any historical performance issues under the current contract that should be addressed or improved upon?

Q16: Are there any bonding requirements from the prime or subcontractor?

Government Response: Please refer to the solicitation and attachments.

Q17: What exactly will we be looking at during the site visit? Is it mandatory, and would not attending affect my chances of being considered for the award?

Q18: Is there an incumbent contractor for this solicitation, and if so, what was the contract value?
