About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for design-bid-build construction services to repair 1,500 feet of a levee in Tracy, California. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, seeks to rehabilitate the levee to pre-flood conditions from winter 2016-2017 through removal of an existing fence, clearing vegetation, and constructing a seepage berm with fill, geotextile, filter sand, drain rock, and riprap. Additional requirements include dust control, daily safety meetings, and weekly status meetings. The bid due date was extended from April 18th to April 19th, 2022 at 10:00 AM PST with bid opening at 1:30 PM PST on the same day via WebEx. The contract is to be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest total bid.
The related federal contract opportunity provides additional context that the construction value is estimated between $5 million to $10 million to repair 1,500 feet of levee erosion at Site 1151-21 in Tracy, California along the San Joaquin River. Interested vendors can self-identify on SAM.gov but USACE will not coordinate partnering arrangements. The project details, solicitation, plans and specifications are available for download on SAM.gov.
