About this file

This document contains details regarding a federal contract opportunity for the Dugway Proving Grounds Microgrid project. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Sacramento is soliciting proposals to design and construct a complete and operational microgrid at Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah. The microgrid will integrate an existing 12-MW diesel generator plant and 2-MW solar array with a new battery energy storage system and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition system. It will also connect to an existing utility-grade database system and total building energy management control system, as well as a future 2-MW solar array. A new Microgrid Control System will control the base utility grid. The related file contains photographs of the existing electrical infrastructure and renewable energy systems to assist offerors with understanding project requirements.
