About this file

This letter from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality approves a Stormwater Management Plan and Erosion and Sediment Control Plan for repairing a parking lot at Lotts Center in Richmond, Virginia. The plans are dated July 31, 2019 and were submitted to the DEQ on August 1, 2019. The letter grants approval of the plans and requires that any changes be approved by the DEQ prior to construction. It also notes that approval of the plans does not relieve compliance with other laws and regulations. Upon completion of construction, the owner must submit record drawings of permanent stormwater management facilities.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District solicitation seeks a business to design and construct a new parking lot on the north side of Building 31 at Defense Supply Center Richmond. The 225+ space lot will replace an existing gravel lot and require grading of a concrete and rubble berm, installation of LED lighting, landscaping, and a handicap ramp. Stormwater management must follow best practices and permit requirements. Coordination may be needed with a separate street improvement project. The response deadline and award dates are not specified.
