About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for repairing a parking lot for Lotts Center. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District is seeking a contractor to design and construct additional parking spaces and make other site improvements to an existing gravel parking lot located on federal property. The project includes removing an existing road, building a handicap accessible ramp, installing LED lighting and landscaping, and coordinating with separate ongoing road improvement projects. Contractors must adhere to base management practices and low impact development standards where possible. Over 225 parking spaces must be created to match an adjacent parking lot while maintaining an underground geothermal well system. The owner will later install solar powered emergency call boxes and a smoking shelter that are not part of this contract's scope of work.
