CLINs 0008 & 0009 Unit Pricing (Pages 11/12): For both of these CLINs, the "0 to 100 (est.)

cubic yards (CY)" unit pricing states "100 CY", while the "101 to 200 (est.) cubic yards (CY)" unit pricing does not. Please clarify if the unit price to be quoted on both of these lines is supposed to be for (1) CY, or for (100) CY.

By: Valerie Jackson; Greenland Enterprises, Inc.; (757.864.0640). On: Aug 08 2019.

1-0 Evaluation Concurred. Potential Cost Impact. I see the issue. CLINs 0008 & 0009 in the solicitation asks for a unit price of 100CY plus the extended cost (which would be 100CY), then requests the unit price of 1CY for 101 to 200CY and extended cost of all CYs between 101 and 200CYs.

Recommend amending using similar verbiage as CLIN 0010 (above); i.e. "For the first 100 cubic yards 0 - 100, UNIT PRICE CY $_____ EXTENDED COST $_____." The way the CLINs were laid out in the BID Item price schedule w options_DESC 1914" was to get a unit price (1CY within the 0-100 range) as well as the total cost for 100CYs (0-100 range), 99CYs (101-200 range), etc. By:

May we form and pour the curb shown after pouring the slab below? Would a bonding agent be required similar to detail D4 on sheet S-501?

1-0 Evaluation Concurred. It is preferred the curb be placed with the slab for overall finish and quality. However, curb may be placed separately. A fuel resistant dumbbell water stop must be installed, the surface roughened, and a bonding agent applied prior to placing the curb. 1. Section 01 32 01.00 10 Paragraph 2.1.2.2 states that if the Contractor uses any scheduling program other than P6 that the Contractor must provide the Government with 2 computers and provide training for the schedule program. Is this correct?

By: Kara Laskowski; Ocean Construction Services; (7572009590). On: Aug 20

1-0 Evaluation Concurred. Primavera P6 is the preferred scheduling program. The contractor is allowed to use another scheduling program only if, "...Contractors must provide the Government with 2 computers and provide training for the schedule program...". Also the computers cannot use the Corps wide network so the computer will need to stand alone or the contractor will have to provide internet access. Note that the scheduling program used by the contractor needs to create a Standard Data Exchange Format (SDEF) file to import into RMS per requirements in Specification 01 45 00.15 10, paragraph 1.7.5.
