Exhibit H
Drift, Debris & Trash Removal
Location of work:
The drift removal area is upstream of the dam site. Approximately 1600 feet before and after the orange floating tuff boom on the lake. Work area will be on the surface of the lake and shoreline; a boat may be needed for this work and it shall be the responsibility of the contractor to provide such. All required boat safety requirements must be followed to include wearing of personal flotation devices (PFDs) at all times. Most drift is seasonably on the right bank of the Mahoning Creek. Access drift removal area from the top of dam and fisherman’s trail head.
A key is required to access the Left bank side of the Mahoning Creek and across the top of the dam. Contractor shall plan ahead with COR for this access.
Work to be performed:
The work shall consist of cutting, stacking** and burning trash, debris and fallen trees to the extent specified. Fires shall be guarded at all times and shall be under constant surveillance until they have been extinguished. Any fires must be at least 30 feet away from dam face and plastic tuff boom on lake.
**Debris piles must be measured in the presence of COR prior to burning and agreement reached as to the accumulated cubic yards PRIOR to burning.
A service of 1000 cubic yards can be ordered per year. Normally Nov – Dec time frame and is based on when winter pool is reached at dam.
