Contracting Discussion

Introduction

Good morning, my name is David Lahey, I’m the Contract Specialist for this solicitation. I want to welcome everyone to the pre-bid site visit for the Loyalhanna Dam Service Bridge Repair project.

The Contracting Officer is Mike Pearson.

To begin, I’ll let the Government attendees introduce themselves.

Reason for this Pre-Bid Conference

The reason for this pre-bid conference is that we hope to improve your understanding of the Government’s requirement for this project.

Everyone was given a couple of note cards. These cards are to be used so you can jot down any questions that you might have. I will collect these cards at the end of the Site Visit. The questions and concerns brought up today will be addressed by an Amendment, which will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. I’ll also include, in the amendment, the list of attendees here today.

We will consider any constructive comments or recommendations that you make.

You are cautioned that any remarks made at this site visit shall not qualify the terms of the solicitation unless the solicitation is amended in writing.

The one thing we will not do during this site visit, is to make any comment or opinion regarding your particular bid or approach that you may take for this requirement.
