QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES FROM PREPROPOSAL CONFERENCE
A. QUESTION: What is the desired schedule for pickup of solid waste?
RESPONSE: See paragraph 3 above.
B. QUESTION: May offerors view the current incumbent’s contract?
RESPONSE: Attachment I to this amendment contains a copy of the incumbent contractor’s prices for Option Years 3 and 4 for informational purposes.
C. QUESTION: Is the schedule of services flexible?
W911WN-08-R-0014
RESPONSE: Services have some flexibility; however, the first priority is the safety and comfort of the park visitors. NOTE: During peak times, the COR may require twice daily cleaning of some areas based on the number of visitors in the park.
D. QUESTION: Will the contractor be required to furnish lightbulbs as well as change them?
RESPONSE: Yes. See paragraph 2 above.
E. QUESTION: What type of minor repairs will be included in the requirement for “maintenance?”
RESPONSE: See paragraph 3.3.2.9 of the Performance Work Statement.
F. QUESTION: Will paper towels be supplied by the government for the restrooms?
RESPONSE: See paragraph 1 above.
G. QUESTION: Will storage space be furnished for supplies and equipment?
RESPONSE: Yes, some storage space for supplies is provided. Minimal storage space for mowing equipment is also available at the contractor’s own risk.
H. QUESTION: What is the relationship between the Performance Work Statement, the Attachments and the Exhibits?
RESPONSE: The Performance Work Statement is a description of requirements common to all USACE parks.
The Exhibits are procedures specific to the site where the requested work will be performed. Attachments supplement the information in the Exhibits (maps, samples of forms, etc.); changes to attachments do not require modifications to the contract. Offerors must look at all three collectively in order to gain the entire picture of the requirement.
