About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a carpet services solicitation at West Point. The document addresses two key questions related to the contract opportunity.

The first question indicates that line items will be adjusted in an amendment. The second question asks about site visits and floor plans, to which the response clarifies that site visits and floor plans will not be available initially. Instead, floor plans will be provided on a case-by-case basis when Building Commandants submit a Form 4283 (Work Order) requesting carpet replacement. Once a request is received, the contracting office will provide floor plans to the Carpet Contractor and arrange a specific site visit for that location. The contract scope covers all facilities/buildings both on and off West Point.

Question and Answer

Carpet Solicitation

Q: Line Items Will be adjusted in an Amendment.

Q:Will a site visit be available And Floor plans available.

A: Not at this me- This contract will cover all facilities/buildings on/o West Point. I will provide floor plans once I receive a carpet replacement request. The customer (Building Commandants) will submit a 4283 (Work Order) requesting carpet replacement. Once I receive the request, I will send the floor plans to the Carpet Contractor and set up that specific site visit.
